Beginner
Kids and Teen Classes
From Preschool music and rhythm to high-energy Kids and Teen levels, we provide a supportive space for all. Dancers build confidence and musicality through age-specific classes, with a clear pathway to Intermediate and Advanced crews. No experience is required to start, just a passion for movement!
Intermediate
Development Crews
Take the next step in your dance journey. Designed for dancers with prior hip hop experience, our Kids and Teen Crews focus on refining technique and mastering choreography across diverse hip hop styles. We provide an energetic, safe, and supportive space for dancers to grow and figure out their own unique way of moving.

Advanced
Competition Crews
Designed for advanced hip hop dancers, our Competition Crews train to represent the studio at competitions and external performances across Christchurch and New Zealand. Beyond the stage, crew members also attend our Academy program. Here, we prioritise dancer wellbeing and regularly invite experienced dancers from the local community to share their knowledge, ensuring our team grows both mentally, physically, spiritually and socially.
At Zion Dance Studios, we believe dance is more than movement. Through Hip Hop, we provide a supportive environment where young people can develop socially, strengthen their well-being and build their skills with confidence. Our instructors bring passion, knowledge and energy to every class, creating a positive space where you can challenge yourself, grow and enjoy the process.
